What a difference a design makes. Here are two identical giclée prints by Athanase Pell but framed to create entirely different looks. Our first example takes on old world elegance with a deep burgundy, course linen wrapped mat and matching under-glass liner. It is contained in a 3 ½” ornate gold frame and matching fillet by designer Craig Ponzio.

The other example, equally spectacular, is set off with an embossed, hand-wrapped wheat colored linen mat and burgundy fabric accent fillet. It is surrounded by a 2 ¾” ultra-contemporary, oxblood linen textured frame designed by Jonathon Adler. Both pieces are viewed through museum glass which effectively disappears. One piece of artwork – equally at home in a contemporary up-style design or as elegant tradition.

These examples of creative fabric design must be seen to be appreciated. Both are on display in our showroom. The artwork seen here comes from Artaissance, our program for printing artwork any size required to fit a space.
