The Faces of Fastframe

Glenn Renick, Owner, President, and Chief Framing Officer

In the 1980s Glenn began framing personal items as a hobby. Over time he learned frame finishing, mat cutting, mounting, and glass cutting skills – the fundamentals of custom framing. After a long career in business education and technology training management, Glenn decided to dedicate full-time attention to his love of framing and established Glenn and Terry, OwnersRenick Custom Services, Inc., the parent organization of Fastframe of Lakeville, in October of 2005. He now manages all aspect of the framing business and personally builds every frame created in the store’s dedicated craft shop. Glenn is now recognized within the industry for creative framing design and the creation of unique and challenging displays. He regularly serves in an advisory capacity for other framing shops and is a board member of the Professional Picture Framers Association North Central Chapter.

Terry Renick, Owner and Secretary

Running a family owned business is a lot of work. Much of it takes place behind the scene. Terry is the chief support officer and does things that no one else seems to have time for. She helps build the image and character of the shop. Terry is also a registered nurse who works emergency and critical care.

 

Beth CraswellBeth Craswell, Designer

Beth holds degrees in graphic design from North Hennepin Community College and art education from St. Cloud State University. With over 25 years of experience in the art supply and framing industries, her understanding of materials and artistic technique helps to advise both artists and art lovers in the selection of framing designs that best compliment their objectives. She has a great appreciation for visual arts and continues to be an active member in the artist community.

 

Stacy CrakesStacy Crakes, Business Development Manager

Stacy is the daughter of Glenn and Terry. She helps to coordinate our marketing and community exposure efforts. Stacy is also responsible for development and updating of the Fastframe of Lakeville website. She has a unique background as a licensed civil engineer and holds a marketing focused MBA. By day Stacy works for one of the country’s top construction contractors as part of their Renewable Energy Groups, with her efforts focused on wind energy projects.

 

Amy Frana, Public Relations Manager

Amy is the newest addition to the team and is also the daughter of Glenn and Terry. Amy is responsible for managing public relations including press releases and newsletters. She also helps Stacy with maintaining the information on the Fastframe of Lakeville website. Amy is excited to spend some of her spare time now working with the family business.

She also holds a full time position working as a Quality Manager for a large national consumer and commercial food corporation. For the remainder of her spare time, Amy enjoys hiking, camping, reading, and traveling.

 

Smart, Transportation Provider

And here is the final member of our team - the Smart car! This sporty little vehicle provides transportation while also being environmentally friendly and a whole lot of fun to drive. Watch for it in your area, or stop by the store for a closer look.
